Egypt to build 200 meter-high pyramid skyscraper
Egypt has unveiled plans to build a 200-m-high pyramid skyscraper, Zayed Crystal Spark, on an 798,000 sq m area at Sheikh Zayed City in Cairo.
The upcoming development - a mix of government, commercial, and entertainment space - will be constructed through a public/private partnership. On completion, it will become the tallest tower in the country, reported the Daily News Egypt.
The tower will be launched during the Economic Summit to be held in Sharm El Sheikh from March 13 to 15.
The project is being developed in partnership with Egypt's New Urban Communities Authority (Nuca), stated the report, citing the Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly.
