Vodafone Egypt, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC sign deal to manufacture telecommunications equipment

The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony led by Rasha Al-Azhari, Chief Financial Officer at Vodafone Egypt, and Abdelrahman Elsewedy, Group Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer at ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, and was attended by Mohamed Shamroukh, Executive President of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Egypt, who represented the Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

This strategic alliance will enable the production of a range of advanced telecommunications products locally, including fibre and copper cables, lithium batteries for telecom cabinets, and antennas.

This deal marks a significant milestone for the Egyptian telecommunications industry, as it aims to deliver high-quality products that meet international standards while reducing dependence on imports.
