According to a statement from the communication ministry, Talaat encouraged global companies to leverage the competitive advantages Egypt offers to fuel their growth.

The minister spotlighted Egypt’s position as a leading hub for outsourcing and IT services exports,” the statement added.

In recent years, Egypt has sought to position itself as a technology talent hub, bolstered by its large pool of highly skilled workers. Approximately 740,000 people graduate from university each year, with 28 percent specializing in STEM majors.

Ahmed El Zaher, CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), said Egypt's unique combination of a vast, young, and highly skilled talent pool, coupled with its strong infrastructure and supportive government policies, makes it a prime destination for outsourcing services.

ITIDA, which opened its doors in 2004, serves as the IT arm of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

“AI is playing a transformative role in shaping Egypt's digital future, and we are committed to advancing its integration for broader societal benefits,” the statement quoted the Senior Vice-President for Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (CEEMETA) at Dell Technologies, Mohamed Amin, as saying.

Dell's Egypt COE, inaugurated in 2009, is one of four global Dell Technology centres. It caters to several markets in the Middle East, Africa, America, and Asia, offering services in over 12 languages.

El Zaher noted that the 15-year success of Dell Technologies' COE in Egypt, delivering the latest technological solutions to businesses and organizations across the EMEA region, demonstrates Egypt's ability to foster a thriving environment for global delivery operations.
