The inaugural Egypt Water Desalination Forum, taking place from 24 – 25 September,


will gather the leading stakeholders involved in Egypt’s desalination projects to discuss the planning, design, build, operation and maintenance of desalination plants, including potential new delivery models, financing strategies and cost and energy saving technologies to ensure the continued growth and development of the desalination industry and the Egyptian economy.

The seawater desalination market in Egypt is bursting to life as more and more plants are moving from planning into operation thanks to a renewed focus from the government. With the growing need for fresh water for drinking and irrigation purposes, ensuring the sustainable and cost-effective production of water is an ongoing priority that touches the entire Egyptian economy.
