Egypt food industry exports grow by 21% in 2024

Chairman of the Food Export Council (FEC), Mahmoud Bazan, said Egypt's food industry exports grew by 21 percent in 2024, exceeding $6.1 billion.

Egypt aims to increase its annual exports to reach $115.8 billion by 2030, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Tuesday.

The Egyptian government pays great attention to advancing the developmental objectives of the World Trade Organization (WTO).

The size of Egyptian investments in Sudan is $1 billion, while that of Sudanese investments in Egypt is $240 million.

The Joint Economic Committee is designed to bolster trade, attract investments, and identify new market opportunities.
