Madbouly pushes for balanced trade deals with Africa to boost exports

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is preparing a plan to promote fair trade exchanges with African nations.

The new store opening reflects the company’s ambitious growth plans, providing accessibility and convenience to communities across the country.

Egyptian imports from Jordan saw a sharp increase, totaling $306 million compared to $153 million during the same period in 2023.

“Egyptian-Japanese partnerships reflect the importance of collaborative efforts to tackle development challenges,” Al-Mashat stated.

Egypt’s total imports declined significantly by 5.2% in 2023, reaching $72.4 billion compared to $76.4 billion in 2022. Non-oil imports fell by 4.8%.
