Egypt’s food exports grow by a third

Egypt exported 7.1 million tonnes of agricultural goods between January 1 and October 30, with a total value of $4.1 billion.

This project aims to improve soil fertility for small wheat farmers, particularly by enhancing agricultural productivity through soil fertility.

Today, agriculture contributes 11.6% to the national GDP and employs over 18% of the labor force.

Larger quantities of carrots are being cultivated in Egypt compared with last year as producers aim to meet the needs of their customers in Europe.
