LINKdotNET continues providing El Sondos Orphanage with entertainment facilities
To complement its corporate social responsibility activities, LINKdotNET, the leading internet service provider, has set up a plasma screen and an Xbox 360 with kinect at the Sondos Orphanage; a step that further enhances its contribution to the orphanage. Were it has previously contributed to turning it into a learning center. This step is part of LinkdotNet endeavors to develop Sondos orphanage into an educational center and recreational facility.
Rami Serry “King of Drifting and International Contestant” joined the LINKdotNET team to communicate with the children, and train them on how to skillfully play with the games, in order to enjoy it to the utmost, and also achieve the required benefits. LinkdotNet greatly hopes that its contribution could help in securing a better future, providing a normal life for the children and also help promoting their integration with their community.
Mr. Waseem Arsany, CEO of LINKdotNET, stated that “By donating these equipments, we are glad that we can help fulfilling some of the simple needs of the children. As a company, our role is not limited to just making donations, but also to share some special moments with those children hoping that we can bring joy to their life, and effectively help in planning a better future for them.”
Rami Serry expressed how he feels about this experience, by saying: “It was wonderful to spend some time with these children. They are in a strong need for someone to come and share special moments with them. I am very glad I went through this experience, and I shall always do my best to regularly visit them and try to fulfill some of their simple needs. I also call upon everyone not to hesitate in visiting them.”
It is worth mentioning that Rami Serry has won second position in Autocross 2010. He also won the 1st place in Egypt's qualification round for the “Red Bull Car Park Drift” competition 2011 which led him to compete in Lebanon for the Middle East finals.
