Higher Committee of Nile Water discusses Egyptian projects in Nile Basin countries

The Higher Committee of the Nile Water held a meeting on Sunday 30/10/2011 during which minister of irrigation and water resources Hisham Qandil discussed a number of reports on the future of development in the Nile Basin countries and cooperation in the water sector.

Discussions also dwelt on the present situation on a framework and legal agreement among the Nile Basin states.

The meeting also tackled the preparation of Egyptian Ethiopian Sudanese Tripartite Commission meeting to discuss the impact of Renaissance Dam on Egypt and Sudan.
