Dow Jones Indexes, a leading global index provider, today announced Egypt's Egyptian Company for Mobile Services will be removed from three of Dow Jones Indexes' market gauges due to its acquisition by MT Telecom SCRL of France. India's Patni Computer Systems Limited will be removed from the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Technology Titans 30 Index due to its acquisition by iGate Corporation of the United States.
Dow Jones EGX Egypt Titans 20 Index: El Ezz Aldekhela Steel-Alexandria replaces Egyptian Company for Mobile Services;
Dow Jones Africa Titans 50 Index: Banque Centrale Populaire S.A. replaces Egyptian Company for Mobile Services; and
Dow Jones Emerging Markets Select Dividend Index: Korea Exchange Bank replaces Egyptian Company for Mobile Services.
The changes in the Dow Jones EGX Egypt Titans 20, Dow Jones Africa Titans 50 and Dow Jones Emerging Markets Select Dividend indexes will be effective before the open of trading on Wednesday, May 30, 2012.
The addition of Bangkok, Thailand-based Shin Corporation PCL to the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Technology Titans 30 Index follows the removal of Patni Computer Systems Limited. The changes to the index will be effective before the open of trading on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.
