MasterCard and EgyptAir plan to promote Egypt's tourism together
In an effort to increase tourist traffic into Egypt, MasterCard and Egyptair, the flag carrier airline of Egypt have jointly introduced a cash back promotion for travelers originating from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
With the new promotion, MasterCard cardholders are eligible for 5% cash back while booking tickets online on the Egyptair website, egyptair.com. To take advantage of the ongoing promotion, MasterCard cardholders simply need to register on the Egyptair website while making flight bookings until August 31st, 2012.
The new cash back promotion which has been introduced during the ongoing summer vacations is expected to benefit travelers who intend to visit Egypt during this festive period and beyond.
"The launch of this promotion with MasterCard underscores Egyptair's support of the country's tourism sector at a time of great optimism and change. "MasterCard's recent ranked Cairo as fifth in the Middle East and Africa's top cities by expected international visitor spend in 2012, showing an annual growth of 8.4%.
