At GEW's closing, Solar wins the Innovation Competition

After a week of preparing presentations and getting mentored, the Innovation Competition’s winner walked away with LE2000.
Cairo University’s Faculty of Pharmacy has witnessed the Innovation Camp and Competition, where a selected group of entrepreneurs, planning to make use of Solar Energy as a daily source of energy, was awarded with LE2000, a whole course and workshops from Egypreneur, the Egyptian entrepreneur-supporting organization.

The Innovation Camp was part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) and focused on mentoring the participating groups on the principles of innovation, in order to choose the group with the winning business idea.

The winner was announced during the closing of GEW Egypt, which had hosted 95 entrepreneurial events over the past week. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Middle East Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship Dr. Ashraf Sheta, Senior Vice President of the International Council for Small Business Amr Gohar, Egypt’s #1 Motivation Speaker Mohamed Tohami, and GEW Egypt’s Head Ahmed Osman.

The Innovation Camp and Competition was organized by the Pharmaceutical Association for Investment (PhAI), a student organization based in Faculty of Pharmacy Cairo University since 2008. It was sponsored by Egypt Business Directory, Injaz, MCSBE, Egypreneur and Innoventures.
