Etisalat Misr selects Raya for new data center infrastructure
With a capacity of 145 IT Racks over an area of more than 1000 m2, Etisalat Misr chose Raya Networks Services (RNS), one of Raya IT’s units , to design, implement & prepare Etisalat’s new data center infrastructure on turnkey basis. The scope mainly includes civil works, mechanical system, power system, light current system and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system.

In a challenging bidding cycle of 6 months, Raya Networks Services was able to win the deal in February 2014. Raya Networks Services has step forward for the challenge to build a state-of-the-art technology data center taking into consideration a number of strict parameters that were all achieved in a creative solution proposal. The parameters include maximum possible number of IT racks, performing at the highest level of efficiency and availability in smooth operations. Parameters also include flexibility and adaptability to business needs and changes while maintaining low cost and operation expenses and to be deployed before the end of the year. The designed data center should also work to save energy. The implementation will start by May 2014.
