Egypt launched the first documentation of the challenges facing startups aiming to improve the startups ecosystem in the country.
The initiative was launched by RiseUp summit, Egypt's biggest entrepreneurship event.
The manifesto was launched this month and provides an overview of different challenges that faces startups along with actionable solutions on how to face those challenges, its aim is to create "an ecosystem for the ecosystem".
Challenges include access to data, funding, investment policies and regulation and brain drain.
The website that was launched for the manifesto calls on entrepreneurs and investors and everyone in the startup ecosystem to collaborate to achieve the goal of taking Egypt startup scene, characterized by being the best in the region, to the next level.
