Egypt to release online e-visa

Egypt is launching an online portal for obtaining visa to visit Egypt from 74 nations.

This allows travellers who plan on vacationing in Egypt to pay with card, and download their approval letter that they will recieve by email. It will then be checked by specialists upon arrival.

Travelers are required to apply online, the permit is then considered by immigration officials, who may send asking for additional information. The country maintains the right to reject applicants.

The new visa is considered to make travelling to Egypt easier and safer, without a need to visit any embassy.
