NBE to open a subsidiary in South Sudan

The National Bank of Egypt is opening a Subsidiary in the South Sudanese capital, Juba, tomorrow Tuesday 28th of June.
The move is part of NBE’s strategy to establish itself internationally and strengthen its operations outside of Egypt. It got the approval for the South Sudanese subsidiary in May 2021 and the opening is taking place now.
The bank has a good location in the capital, in Juba town, next to the Bank of South Sudan, as reported by the Egyptian embassy in South Sudan.
