Egypt economic conference kicks off

Under the auspices of President AbdelFattah Al-Sisi, Egypt launched Economic Conference 2022 to discuss and prepare a roadmap for for its economy.

The 3-day conference was launched in the attanedence of government members, economisits, businessmen, specialists, thinkers and parliament and party members. The attendees will have roundtable sessions and multiple discussions to come up with conculsions and recommendations.

Prime Minister Mustafa madbouly stated that Egypt and the world are facing one of the worst economic crises in more than 80 years, and that stakeholders need to pinpoint the challenges facing the economy so that they draw a roadmap map to a more competitive one.

President Al-Sisi had called for this conference to discuss the issues facing the economy and how to boost Egypt's different sectors

Attendees discussed raising the private sector contribution to the economy to more than 65%.
