Beblawi: Egypt witnesses political and economic changes
Minister of finance Hazem El-Beblawi said that Egypt is witnessing a lot of important political and economic changes after revolution of 25 January were clearly manifested in its economic policies.
The minister was speaking at a conference on Public Private Partnerships (PPP) held at the British embassy in Cairo on 5-10-2011.
Beblawi said the Ministry of Finance is working on improving business climate in Egypt via providing protection to the investor and creating an attractive investment climate free of corruption.
He added that the caretaker government is working hard to face all problems and challenges and secure free and honest parliamentary elections, which are due to start in November.
Also, Biblawi said, power supply is still an important factor in achieving development in Egypt, making clear that the Giza power plant will be developed.
He stressed that investment in infrastructure will lead to further investments in electricity sector.
