Education and Egypt's future
On September 17 the new academic year will begin in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Council of Pre-University Education. The decision also included the duration of the academic year and the dates of tests of the first and second semesters.
The new academic year is the first one after January 25th revolution, which was launched for a better future for Egypt, for achieving freedom, social justice and human dignity and for a better position to Egypt as the oldest known human civilizations.
There is no doubt that education is a cornerstone in building the future of Egypt. Good education means building a capable young people to deal with the age for modernizing our country and putting the first blocks for the future Egyptian leaders to regain its leading role.
Education Minister Ahmed Gamal El Din Moussa expressed the need for a revolution in education to move from dictating our children to training them to think, search and develop their creativity through activities.
