Overview

The FX-5220 is a high performance 2U Rackmount network security platform utilizing four Intel Xeon E5-4600 CPUs on the C602 Chipset. It is targeted at computation-intensive communications applications such as carrier-grade network security. The system includes 3 PCIe*8 NIC expansion slots (the maximum port density is 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports), 32 ECC DDR3 1600 DIMM slots for up to 256 GB total memory, 1 management port, 5 system fans and a redundant power supply.
