Motivational Speaker Shawn Anderson to Inspire 3,000 at Philippine Summit

Bacolod City, Philippines, August 17, 2015 -- Motivational author and speaker Shawn Anderson will be the opening keynote speaker at the 2nd Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Cooperative Summit August 20-22 in Bacolod City, Philippines. Currently on a three-week motivational speaking tour reaching out to Filipinos at business, government, school and community outreach events, Anderson will conclude his 2015 Philippine ”Go the Extra Mile” tour with this event.

Anderson, the author of six books including SOAR to the Top!, Amicus 101, and Extra Mile America: Stories of Inspiration, Possibility and Purpose will be sharing his empowering message “Fear, Failure...and Going the Extra Mile.” Anderson is also the Founder of Extra Mile America and the creator of Extra Mile Day. On November 1, 2014, 527 U.S. cities made the unique declaration and recognized those in their local communities who were going the extra mile in volunteerism and service.

The PCL Summit will be attended by city political and development officers from across the Philippines. Also keynoting the event are the Hon. Jejomar Binay, the Vice President of the Philippines, and Interior Secretary Mar Roxas. Both have announced their candidacy for the Presidency of the Philippines.
