UAE's Just Falafel eyes 85 outlets in Egypt amid overseas push

UAE-based food retailer Just Falafel has announced that it is expanding its reach in Egypt as part of an aggressive overseas growth plan.

Just Falafel said it will be opening in the upmarket resort of Marassi, adding that it plans to follow up with 85 more over the next few years.

The move is part of the brand's rapid expansion both within the GCC and internationally. The global roll out will see up to 44 more restaurants open this year as Just Falafel increases its presence in key markets such as the USA, Canada, Australia and India.

The group said it has sold over 20 million falafels and is set to increase this significantly over the coming months.
