Minister: Egypt keen on promoting cooperation with Russia

"Economic relation between the two countries will be boosted in the coming period," said a statement by the Industry Ministry following a meeting of the Egyptian minister with Russian Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov at the headquarters of the Egyptian embassy in Moscow.

Present at the meeting were Egypt's Ambassador in Moscow Moahamed al-Badri and Minister Plenipotentiary Mohammad Daoud, the head of commercial representation office.

Egypt will start exporting agriculture products to Russia, especially in light of the European ban imposed on Russia. The meeting tackled the needs of Russia's market of the Egyptian products during the coming period.
