Abdel-Nour: Egypt, Belarus sign economic cooperation protocols
Egypt and Belarus have inked a number of cooperation protocols to develop joint trade relations, said Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fahkry Abdel-Nour in a statement on Friday 19/09/2014.
After four days of talks in Minsk the Belarusian capital, and after the second round of bilateral talks, a joint trade committee has approved the protocols that are regarded as a start of a new stage of economic relations between the two countries.
It paves the way for the establishment of a free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union, said the Minister. Egypt is keen on boosting economic ties with markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, he said.
