Tourist arrivals hit 200 percent in September

The flow of tourists into Egypt has increased tangibly over the past six months, according to Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zaazou.In a statement on Sunday, Zaazou stated that tourist arrivals to Egypt witnessed a 200 percent rise in September compared to the same month last year.

The Egyptian State Information Service (SIS) quoted Zaazou as saying that the increase reflects the successful efforts of the Tourism Ministry to revive the sector and restore travel rates to those achieved prior to the 2011 revolution said.
