Sisi decides to extend farmers’ debt repayment period

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi decided on Wednesday 31/12/2014 to extend the outstanding debt repayment period for farmers for a year, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.

The decision came amid Sisi's meeting with representatives of farmers at the presidential palace in Heliopolis.

The President also directed to speed up farmers' pensions' bill, and allowing them to join cooperatives for the aim of reclaiming more lands, Youssef said.

The decision came amid Sisi's keenness on supporting farmers, he added.
