Egypt's Amer Group posts jump in Q1 profit

Amer has diversified businesses in the primary and secondary homes market, as well as hotels, shopping malls and restaurants.

Amer Group's first-quarter net profit jumped to 16.358 million Egyptian pounds ($2.14 million) from 2.027 million a year earlier, the Egyptian real estate company said in a statement to the stock exchange on Monday.
