Egypt's bourse closed Tuesday on 30 June anniversary
Egypt's stock exchange has announced it will close on Tuesday on the anniversary of the 30 June uprsining against former Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi, according to a bourse statement on Monday.
On 30 June 2013, millions of Egyptians took to the streets demanding the overthrow of Morsi, in the second popular uprising in the country since president Hosni Mubarak was ousted in 2011.
The stock exchange will also be closed on Wednesday 1 July, the first day of the new fiscal year.
The market will resume trading on Thursday, 2 July.
