Specialised ministerial units to follow up on projects funded through grants and loans

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb has demanded the formation of units specialised in following up on the projects executed through grants and loans in most ministries, according to Cabinet Spokesman Hossam El-Kawish.

El-Kawish said that the units aim at removing any obstacles that prevent the execution of the projects funded through the grants and loans, adding that the units would be directly affiliated to the concerned minister, and would submit a report to the Prime Minister.

“The Prime Minister held a meeting this week, to follow up on the executive situation of the projects executed through funding from grants and loans, in the presence of the Ministers of Electricity, International Cooperation, Transport, and Agriculture, as well as the concerned officials,” a cabinet statement said.
