Vodafone Egypt reports 7.3% revenue growth in 2015’s third quarter
Vodafone Egypt reported a 7.3% growth in revenue in the third quarter of 2015, making it the third largest revenue increase for the company in the Middle East and Africa.
The gains in the third quarter came despite a 3.4% decrease in Vodafone Egypt’s revenues in the second quarter.
The company attributed the growth in revenue in the Egyptian market to the increasing popularity of data transfer and voice services. Vodafone Egypt’s customers also increased by 6.5% to 38.3 million users. Vodafone Egypt has the highest number of users among the company’s national markets.
Vodafone Turkey reported the highest revenue growth among Vodafone Global’s international markets with a growth rate of 21.3%, followed by Vodafone Ghana which posted a growth rate 18.1%.
