€390m revenues of Vodafone Egypt in Q4 of FY 2015/2016
Vodafone Egypt achieved an 11.2% growth in its revenues during the fourth quarter (Q4) of fiscal year (FY) 2015/2016 which ended in March. According to the data from the mother company Vodafone, the company’s revenues from mobile data service have grown by 37% supported by the company’s acquisition of 40% of the mobile market in Egypt.
Based on the financial data of the company, Egypt has occupied the first place among markets of the Middle East and Europe in terms of growth, followed by Turkey and Portugal.
Revenues of Vodafone in Egypt reached €390m during Q4 of FY 2015/2016, and total revenues in Egypt during the second half of FY 2015/2016 reached nearly €816m. The value of profits before deducting tax reached €337m, achieving net profit of €168m.
According to the financial data of the company for Q4 of FY 2015/2016, the average revenues per client in Egypt reached EGP 91.9 for the contract services and EGP 23.8 for the prepaid services. Average revenues of Egyptian users reached EGP 28.3 monthly in the last three months of FY 2015/2016.
