Starz Play expands with Vodafone Egypt, Maroc Telecom

Video streaming service Starz Play Arabia has partnered with Vodafone Egypt and Maroc Telecom to offer its on-demand content to mobile subscribers in the North African countries, reports RapidtvNews. Vodafone Egypt customers can now use mobile operator billing to access more than 5,000 hours of Starz Play’s Hollywood movies, documentaries, children’s entertainment, same-day-as-the-US series, and Arabic content in full HD and 4K.

Likewise, customers of Morocco’s largest telecommunications carrier Maroc Telecom can now sign up to the video-on-demand (VOD) service, which in addition to English, also offers a French or Arabic user interface, French and Arabic audio, and Arabic subtitles for the Hollywood content.

The first month is offered free in both countries. After the free trial period, subscribers can continue to have unlimited access to the entire Starz Play catalogue for EGP 50 and MAD 50 per month. In addition to mobile operator billing, Starz Play offers a broad range of payment methods including credit card and PayPal, all with a ‘cancel anytime’ proposition.
