Siemens JV to help boost Egypt oil generator business
State-run Egyptian Electricity Holding and Egyptian Maintenance Company for Petroleum Services will be joining hands with German industrial giant Siemens to set up a new company which will help boost oil the country's generator business.
Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla received earlier a delegation from Siemens comprising Emad Ghaly, chief executive of Siemens Egypt; and Brian Todd, VP of Oil and Gas Sales, Europe, Russia, and Africa, reported Amwal Alghad.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed Siemens’ readiness to work on upgrading generators in the oil fields and refining labs in order to improve operational efficiencies, it added.
