Egypt, Romania sign four MOUs in joint committee meeting
Egyptian and Romanian ministers signed four memorandums of understanding in several fields, including economic and agricultural issues, on Friday.
Egypt's Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr signed memorandums that related to science, agriculture, small and medium-sized enterprises, water resources and irrigation, alongside her Romanian counterparts.
The minister also witnessed the signing of a MOU between Romania's Constanta Port and Alexandria Port Authority, a statement from the ministry read.
The memorandums were signed in Bucharest, during the second round of meetings of the joint Egyptian-Romanian ministerial committee for economic cooperation.
Nasr asserted the importance of the committee’s meetings, which have not been held since 2010.
She highlighted the importance of continued rounds to accomplish a major leap forward in the history of relations between the two countries, according to the statement.
