British Egyptian Business Association to promote Egypt investment opportunities in the UK
A delegation from the British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA) will visit the UK on Wednesday for four days to present investment opportunities in Egypt, according to a Trade and Industry Ministry statement.
Business representatives from 40 companies will participate in the MENA Britain Trade Expo which is set to take place on Friday in London.
Two sessions at the conference will center on Egypt, one of which will be co-hosted by BEBA, focusing on the country as an attractive investment destination, with speakers including Egyptian Stock Exchange Chairman Mohamed Farid and Vice Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk.
The trade delegation will present incentives offered for investors in Egypt and free trade agreements that make the nation a gateway for two billion consumers around the world, Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil said, following a meeting with the delegation.
Investment opportunities will be presented in the sectors of infrastructure, financial services, renewable energy, and oil, BEBA Chairman Khaled Nosseir said.
The ministry launched an industrial investment map last week with 4,136 opportunities in eight sectors across 27 governorates.
