Vodafone tops list of telecom companies in Egypt in 2017 revenue growth

Vodafone Egypt topped the list of telecommunications companies with the fastest growing revenues in 2017. According to sources in the communications sector, the Vodafone Egypt€™s revenue growth reached 19%, while Etisalat came second with 18%, followed by Orange with 6%.

Vodafone Egypt topped the list of most profitable telecom companies, with a profit growth rate of 45% in 2017, versus 44% in 2016.

Etisalat Egypt came second with a profit growth of 39.2%, up from 39% in 2016, followed by Orange with 28% in 2017, down from 30% in 2016.



According to sources, Vodafone holds the highest value of the communications market, accounting for 44% of the market€™s value in 2017, up from 43% in 2016, followed by Etisalat with 28.4%, up from 27.7% in 2016.
