$214m volume of trade exchange between Egypt, Tunisia in H1 2018
Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar revealed that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Tunisia during the first six months of this year amounted to $214m.
He explained that the Egyptian exports recorded $176m, while imports from Tunisia amounted to $38m.
This came during the meeting of the Egyptian-Tunisian trade and industrial committee in its fifth session, which was concluded Saturday by the Egyptian and Tunisian ministers of trade and industry.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed on facilitating the procedures related to the trade movement between Egypt and Tunisia.
Moreover, they have agreed to strengthen joint trade relations and eliminate all challenges that impede the flow of trade exchange and joint investment between the two sides, in order to make a breakthrough in the level of joint trade relations.
