Egypt exports 9 Arabian horses to Germany
Egyptian Deputy Agriculture Minister for Animal Resources Mona Mehrez said on Wednesday that Egypt has exported nine Arabian horses to Germany.
The horses were flown to Frankfurt from Cairo airport, Mehrez said.
Egypt's total exports of Arabian horses have reached 56 horses, Mehrez said in statements on Wednesday, adding that “we are continuing to export Arabian horses and opening up new markets for them all over the world.”
Egypt has 1,060 horse farms that apply the proper sanitary and veterinary standards for more than 25,000 of the pure-bred equines.
