Biggest fish market complex in Middle East inaugurated
The biggest fish market complex in the Middle East, stretching over 16,550 square meters, was inaugurated in Port Said on Sunday by governor Adel al-Ghadban and Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali al-Meselhy.
The market has 82 retail shops, 104 shops for pedestrian vendors, 30 wholesale shops, two restaurants, an administrative building, and a police department. It also contains all facilities needed to clean and grill fish as well as parking space at its six gates. Modern fire sprinkler and drainage systems are introduced.
The minister told media that internal trade would be transformed in 2019 revealing that the coordination with Port Said governor would start the following month to establish a vegetable market complex.
