TPAY Mobile and Vodafone Egypt launch DCB for Google Play

Vodafone Egypt and TPAY Mobile have announced the launch of direct carrier billing (DCB) on the Google Play store.

Through this partnership, TPAY Mobile, which operates in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and seven other countries,will enable Vodafone Egypt subscribers to make purchases from Google Play and charge the payments to their mobile phone bill or deduct them from their airtime balance. This means that all of the 41 million Vodafone subscribers in Egypt will be able to purchase paid apps, games and in-app content without using credit cards.
