Egypt to launch commodities exchange by end-August
The Egyptian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Ali El-Moselhy, said that the establishment of the Egyptian Commodities Exchange will be announced before the end of August, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Monday.
The commodities exchange will enhance transparency in commodity pricing, which will contribute to creating greater price stability, the minister added.
On a side note, the minister announced that a new face mask will be offered at a price of EGP 6, along with the current EGP 8.5 face mask.
