Egypt one of two most important ICT markets in Africa

The Egyptian market has many investment opportunities, especially due to the government’s ongoing digital transformation process, Nassif Yazbeck, Sales Director at Vertiv for digital solutions in the Middle East and Africa.

He told Daily News Egypt on the sidelines of the Cairo ICT exhibition, that Egypt is a strategic market in the region.

He explained that the company doubled its investments in the Egyptian market due to the strong growth in demand for information technology services, as Egypt is one the two most important markets in Africa for the company.

He revealed that the company has provided its technological solutions in a number of national projects, especially the Administrative Capital, through a number of partners who are implementing several projects in the capital.

Yazbeck said that the pandemic has affected the global economy in general, but there are several markets, including the Egyptian market, that continue to pump investments, as the Egyptian government focused on implementing digital transformation plans as well as data security, which created many investment opportunities for the company.
