Egypt congratulated Egyptian engineer Dina Ayman, the youngest software director at Microsoft, for being chosen by Forbes magazine among the most influential young personalities under the age of 30.

She was chosen for her great role in empowering, supporting and encouraging women in the fields of management and technology, as Ayman works in a field in which women represent only 7%.

Egyptian Minister of State for Immigration and Expatriates’ Affairs, Nabila Makram, said that Egypt is very proud of Ayman as she is a unique and inspiring model that embodies the empowerment of women and youth at the same time.

Makram asserted that Ayman has been able to achieve several successes in the field of technology, and has made an influence in American society.

The Minister of Immigration hailed the role of the Egyptian women and Egyptian youth abroad, for their role in promoting Egypt abroad, as well as their cooperation to share their experiences in development projects implemented by the state.

Ayman was born in Alexandria and graduated in 2018 with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, achieving one of a kind achievement in a male dominated field like Computer Engineering. She’s the first Egyptian in the US to accomplish that.

She is the youngest university professor in the field of computer engineering at the University of New Jersey. She also works as a programme manager at Microsoft.
