Tourism Ministry looks to enhance cooperation with Messe Berlin

Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa met with David Ruetz - CEO of the ITB Berlin, and Bruno Walter - Adviser of the ITB Berlin Tourism Exchange, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation with Messe Berlin — the organiser of the ITB Berlin Tourism Exchange.

The meeting was attended by various officials from both sides along with representatives from Russia and Italy.

During the meeting, many ideas and proposals were discussed to enhance cooperation with Messe Berlin to organise tourism conferences and exhibitions in Egypt, as this company organises other international exhibitions in Singapore, China, and India and organises events for the tourism sector such as TRVLX, which is organised every year in a different country.

Furthermore, the two sides discussed new horizons for cooperation to enhance the competitiveness of the Egyptian tourism sector, especially in incentives and conference tourism.
