US business representatives express interest in expanding projects in Egypt to President Sisi
The dialogue took place during a dinner banquet hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in honour of the Egyptian president to mark the 100th anniversary of establishing ties between Egypt and the United States.
The banquet was held after the conclusion of the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit in Washington.
It was attended by President of the American Chamber of Commerce Suzanne Clark, the Chairman of Egypt-US Business Council (EUSBC) John Christmann, in addition to heads and directors of many major US companies.
El-Sisi expressed his appreciation of Egypt's strategic ties with the United States and welcomed the growing activities of US companies operating in Egypt, according to a statement by Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Rady.
The representatives of the US business sector expressed interest in working in Egypt and expanding their existing projects, Rady added.
