Air Cairo expects its fleet to increase to 30 aircrafts in 2023
Egyptian carrier Air Cairo has taken delivery of four new aircraft, as the airline continues its rapid expansion. Three Embraer E190s and one Airbus A320neo have recently joined the fleet, alongside the carrier’s existing 16 Airbus A320s and four ATR 72-600s.
The new arrivals bring Air Cairo’s fleet to 24 aircraft, and there are ambitious plans for the carrier to reach 30 aircraft by March this year. The growth ties in with Egypt’s aim to restore tourism in the country back to its pre-pandemic levels and beyond.
