Cairo Airport receives first flight by Sudan's private airline Sun Air
The airport received the plane with the customary water cannon salute to celebrate the first flight by the airline to Egypt’s capital, Egyptian state news agency MENA reported.
Sun Air is scheduled to operate a weekly flight between Cairo and Khartoum.
With a fleet of Embraer E-190, Airbus 330-200, and Airbus A321-200 aircraft, Sun Air operates a number of domestic and international flights, including to the UAE, South Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and other African and Middle Eastern countries.
