Egypt's exports of engineering industries rise to $3.8B in 2022

The Engineering Export Council of Egypt has reported a 10 percent increase in the exports of engineering industries in 2022 to reach $3.836 billion against $3.497 billion  in 2021.

 

The monthly report of the EEC stated that the most prominent sectors whose exports increased in 2022 compared to the same period in 2021 are cables which achieved an increase of 25.6 percent, car components increased by 13.8 percent, home appliances recorded an increase of 0.8 percent, and electrical and electronic industries registered an increase of 18.4 percent.
