Nile water undergoes periodic purification to prevent pollution
Irrigation Minister Hani Sweilem reassured citizens about the quality of the Nile water, saying: “I would like to reassure you about the quality of the water in the Nile River. There are purifications that take place periodically to prevent any pollution.”
In his response to the deputies, the Minister of Irrigation indicated, during the plenary session, today, Tuesday, headed by Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, that there are efforts being made in the matter of raising awareness regarding water conservation.
Dr. Hani Sweilem said: We have 55.5 billion cubic meters, our share of the Nile River, and the state is doing everything to preserve the Nile water, through the efforts of all the ministries concerned with the issue, and the Ministry of Irrigation is one of the institutions, and the issue is very complicated.
