Egypt-India trade exchange rises to $5.2 billion

Data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) revealed a significant jump in Egyptian exports to India during the year 2021, recording $2.6 billion from $1.4 billion in 2020, an increase of 85.7%.

CAPMAS said that Egyptian exports to India reached $1.5 billion in 2019, from $1.1 billion in 2018, and $0.9 billion in 2017.

The Central Statistical Organization stated that the value of Egyptian imports from India amounted to $3 billion in 2021 from $2.6 billion in 2020, an increase of 15.4%.

The Egyptian imports from India reached $2.94 billion in 2019, from $2.28 billion in 2018, and $2.34 in 2017.
